The two groups were among the 17 winners at the award show, which was held on 12 March at IconSiam’s True Icon Hall.

4EVE was also up for the Single Hit of the Year for their song หยดน้ำตา (Tears), and was nominated in the Popular Vote category, which was open to public voting.

In the girl group category, 4EVE faced off against ALALA, PiXXiE, Pretzelle and MXFRUIT. As for Proxie, they were up against ATLAS, Perses, LYKN and ZOLAR (from Muzik Move).

Winning the closely-watched Best Male Artist of the Year award was Jeff Satur, who edged out other artistes like PP Krit and Nont Tanont.

While PP Krit did not win that category, he was handed the Popular Vote award, in a category stacked with T-pop heavyweights like Ink Waruntorn, ‘Bright’ Vachirawit Chivaaree, and ‘NuNew’ Chawarin Perdpiriyawong.

The Best Female Artist of the Year went to Thai-Belgian singer Violette Wautier, who in her acceptance speech thanked everyone “who always believed in V”.

Nont Tanont was also the night’s big winner, with his song รักแรก winning both songwriting and Song of the Year awards. The song is the soundtrack to the popular movie รักแรก โคตรลืมยาก (My Precious).
