The annual Summer Sonic Japan music festival will again feature Thai artistes in its highly-anticipated line-up.
This year’s festival, held across two days in Tokyo and Osaka, will see first time performances from rock legends Bodyslam, as well as Violette Wautier and The Toys. Actor-singer Bright Vachirawit will return to the festival again.
Summer Sonic Japan takes place on 17 and 18 August. Performing in Tokyo on 17 August will be Bright, Violette, as well as The Toys, while the 18th will see Bodyslam make their debut. In Osaka, Violette and Bright will take the stage on 18 August.
Past Summer Sonic Japan performers from Thailand include Ink Waruntorn, as well as Milli.
The release of the festival line-up comes as Thailand prepares to host the maiden edition of Summer Sonic in Bangkok. Violette, Bodyslam and Bright have so far been listed in the line-up.
