The ‘Love Out Loud Fan Fest 2024’ was, by all measures, one for the GMMTV (and Riser Music) fans. In total, 18 of GMMTV’s rising actors performed at the event, a ship- and nautical-themed showcase at Impact Arena in Bangkok.
Riser Music’s ‘Fourth’ Nattawat and ‘Gemini’ Norawit – who are also GMMTV actors – also featured prominently at the two-day fan fest. There were plenty of performances – original songs and covers – through the afternoon, but these were the five that stood out.
1. HIT ME UP – Timethai
Not a week goes by without a sizzling cover of the Timethai smash hit. This version, performed by actors ‘Phuwin’ Tangsakyuen, ‘Earth’ Pirapat, ‘Force’ Jiratchapong, ‘Sea’ Tawinan and ‘Dunk’ Natachai, sent temperatures through the roof (who knew they had these moves in them?), as the hordes of screaming fans can attest.
2. HEY HEY – Milli
Dressed in colourful vests, GMMTV actors ‘Book’ Kasidet, ‘Perth’ Tanapon, ‘Satang’ Kittiphop, ‘Jimmy’ Jitaraphol, as well as Riser’s Gemini gave their kitschiest best covering the Milli banger. Making a special appearance was GMMTV’s ‘Jennie’ Panhan, decked out in the most fabulous of bodysuits.
3. CHARM – LYKN
The boys from LYKN might not be in town (they were in Nagoya for a fan-meet), but the GMMTV actors certainly spread their ‘Charm’ to all their fans. This version features ‘Joong’ Archen and ‘Pond’ Narawit from the original song, but also Riser Music duo Gemini and Fourth and GMMTV’s Book. We especially dig the dance break, which sees Pond bust out some slick moves, plus a syncronised front flip from Gemini and Fourth.
4. สาธุ (Saa-Tuu) – Milli
Perhaps it was Fourth’s rapid-fire rap that elicited the most screams from the audience, but the cover of the Milli track did showcase a side of the 19-year-old rarely seen on stage. A rap/hip-hop single next?
5. เมร่อน – JUEPAK
‘Earth’ and ‘Mix’ Sahaphap – one of the boys-love pairings in GMMTV – also brought the camp on stage, with their take on the viral hit, complete with hula hoops and lots of body shaking.
