Actor-singers Gemini and Phuwin will be singing for the first time in Japanese as part of a compilation of GMMTV soundtracks.
The Best of GMMTV album is a Japan-exclusive compilation that will be released on 19 March by Universal Music Japan.
Its 22 tracks comprises the OSTs to some of GMMTV’s most iconi series, including 2gether the Series, Bad Buddy the Series, as well as My School President.
Gemini will be the singing a special Japanese version of the famous hit รักแรก (First Love), which was originally sung by Nont Tanont and is the OST to the movie My Precious.
Phuwin, meanwhile, will sing the Japanese version of Living For You, the soundtrack to the boys-love series Never Let Me Go. Phuwin starred in the series opposite fellow actor-singer Pond Narawit.
On their first time singing in Japanese, the duo were more than excited. Gemini tells Universal Music that while there “some language barrier”, the language was “surprisingly easy to sing in”.
Phuwin, meanwhile, says while the language was not easy, “I sang it with all my heart.”
Universal also released a special sneak of the two singing the Japanese tracks on Youtube.
