GNEST has unveiled a batch of 15 trainees, giving fans a hint of the label’s new generation of boy and girl groups.
The GNEST trainees were split into two groups: FAVIQ – a group of eight male trainees – as well as CHERIS, which comprise seven female trainees.
The official social media accounts for both trainee groups were announced on 24 September, and showcased each member, as well as dance cover videos.
GNEST, which manages the groups PERSES and VIIS, has not revealed its plans for the two groups, but has called on fans to stay tuned for more updates.
FAVIQ comprises trainees Names, Blink, Peem, Cheva, Zen, Than, as well as twins Jeffrey and Joey.
CHERIS comprises trainees Mayom, Grace, Tiny, Jessica, Monet, Guitar and Pelin.
Several of the trainees have had prior industry: Blink from FAVIQ, for example, was a former member of the pan-Asian, Korea-based boy group Z-Boys. Meanwhile, twins Joey and Jeffrey were contestants on The Voice Kids Thailand.
Two CHERIS trainees – Mayom and Guitar – were formerly part of girl groups Tossagirls and 9QTeens, respectively.
The unveiling of the batch of trainees marks a new milestone for GNEST, which was only formed in 2022 alongside the debut of PERSES.
