Open Label soloist Daou and T-Pop boy group PROXIE were among the winners named at the annual TikTok Awards Thailand.

The awards show, held on 8 November, saw Daou take home the Music Artist of the Year award, having received the highest number of votes from fans.

The singer-actor beat out other nominees in the category like Zom Marie, PERSES and Ink Waruntorn.

PROXIE, meanwhile, scored a win for Viral Song of the Year for their smash hit Bad Shawty. The track has shot to viral fame both within Thailand and internationally, since its release during the Songkran season.

Both categories were people’s choice awards, which saw TikTok users vote for their favourite.

Writing on social media, Daou – himself an avid TikToker with several cover dances under his belt – thanked his fans for their support.

PROXIE also thanked their fans for their support: “Thank you to everyone who supports and likes our work.”

TikTok Awards Thailand 2025 also honoured top creators in other categories, such as Food Creator of the Year, Entertainment Creator of the Year, as well as Storyteller of the Year.

There were also performances by T-Pop acts like PERSES, 4EVE, Billkin, PROXIE, as well as Riser Music’s Fourth, Gemini and FELIZZZ.
