Thai K-Pop star BamBam has hinted that his first Thai album Hometown could also be his last, after he expressed disappointment at what he called “dark-minded” people.
In an Instagram story posted late on 26 November, the GOT7 member says the recently-released Hometown album “was what really hurt my heart the most”.
“There will never be another one again. I’m…going back and never coming back again,” he adds.

Response to Actions Infringing on Artist’s Rights pic.twitter.com/PnsukZmRFt
The post was released shortly after BamBam’s agency HALO issued a sternly-worded statement about the infringement of artiste’s rights.
In the statement, the agency confirms “the indiscriminate spread of posts and comments containing malicious content relating to BamBam”.
While it does not state what these posts were, it says it is “strengthening” checks, and will not hesitate to “take strong legal action…without any leniency settlement” against what it called “clear criminal acts”.
“We kindly ask fans to be cautious and not be misled by unverified information, and we hope that your support for BamBam will continue to be expressed in a healthy and positive way,” the statement adds.

BamBam later followed up the statement with his own comments, calling out the actions of “dark-hearted” people as being “utterly shameful”.
Doubling down on HALO’s comments, he says he “will not let it slide this time”, referring to the “malicious” content about him.
“If you don’t respect me or my people, then I won’t respect you either,” he writes.
The series of statements has caused alarm among his fans, especially since it comes just days after BamBam held two sold-out concerts in Bangkok.
Some fans wondered what had occurred to prompt the reaction, while others rallied round BamBam to encourage and support him.
Celebrity friends like Timethai (with whom he collaborated with) also came to his support.

BamBam’s Hometown is his first Thai-language album, and sees him work with fellow T-Pop acts like Jeff Satur, Ink Waruntorn and Timethai.
