Jeff Satur and Y2K icon Mike Angelo will be producing – and starring in – two new series set to pilot days apart from each other.
Jeff is helming the upcoming thriller Happy Ending, which he and Mike star in, together with former Be On Cloud artiste ‘Barcode’ Tinnasit and 4EVE member Jorin.
Its pilot will premiere 15 June at a closed-door event in Bangkok’s Emsphere mall.
Meanwhile, Mike is producing the vampire-themed Vamp the series. Apart from the duo, the star-studed cast list includes the likes of GMMTV’s ‘Luke’ Ishikawa and Idol Factory actress ‘Becky’ Rebecca.
The pilot for Vamp will premiere on 18 June, also at a press event held at Emsphere mall.
Both series mark the duo’s first foray as producers. When Jeff announced Happy Ending, he said: “I don’t think you are ready for this.”
As for Mike, he revealed that he had been hoping to produce his own series since about 10 years ago. “I’m excited about the new role. I want to do it well. I want [it] to be comparable to the international level,” he wrote on Instagram.
