Jeff Satur has spoken up about rumours he was in a long-term relationship with a woman, though he stopped short of confirming or denying the gossip.
In a Spaces broadcast on X, the 29-year-old says he would prefer to keep the matter “private”, adding that a relationship “is a matter between two people”.
The broadcast, made just after midnight on 6 July, comes as fresh images surface on social media of Jeff on holiday in Sweden, holding the hands of another woman.
Netizens ascertained the woman to be his long-term partner, digging up photos of the duo together dating as far back as the mid-2010s, including a series of photos in 2018 where they wished each other a happy anniversary.
Speaking on 6 July, Jeff apologised for the controversy, but did not comment on the rumours. While he notes the current relationship was “complicated”, he would only say: “If I have a girlfriend, I will tell my fans myself.”
The emotional broadcast saw the actor-singer come close to tears at several junctures, including one moment where he thanked his fans.
“I appreciate everyone’s trust and I am so proud of all your support,” says Jeff, his voice trembling slightly. On social media, fans rallied round their idol, offering words of support, and agreeing that one’s relationship status is a private affair.
Jeff is the latest in a string of Thai celebrites in recent days to be confounded by dating rumours.
A day earlier, actor-singer Win Metawin and actress Lingling Kwong clarified rumours they were an item, after they were spotted in South Korea together. Lingling on social media said the two were just friends, having worked together in the past.
Cloud9 Entertainment artiste Bright Vachirawit, meanwhile, confirmed his relationship with actress-singer Nene Pornnappan following weeks of gossip.
Meanwhile, Be On Cloud actor Mile Phakphum apologised on social media after photos leaked of him with another woman.
