New music this week (9 – 15 September).

1. โฮ่ง! (SUGOI) – LYKN

Time for a Japanese lesson with Riser Music’s LYKN! The electro-hip-hop track is a marked change in musical (and possibly fashion) style for the five-man group. In between the avant-garde fashion and the rapid-fire rap lines, we think it’s – wait for it – sugoi!

2. LIAR – BUS Because of you I shine

Staying on the electro-hip-hop genre are the boys of BUS Because of you I shine, whose new release Liar smashed viewership records. The track is produced by Paper Planes vocalist Hye and features an ultra-catchy chorus.

3. เพื่อนเตือนแล้ว (Ignore) – JustmineNika

XOXO Entertainment duo JustmineNika’s newest single – following the runaway success of รักจริง (แค่เมื่อวาน) – is one for those of us who always miss the red flags.

4. เธอดีที่สุด (What I Say Is True) – Violette Wautier

Violette Wautier is back, this time with a Thai single that is every bit empowering. The music video is also a treat, as it stars Riser Music actor-singer Win Metawin.

5. ย้ำคิดย้ำทำ (OCD) – Mirrr

Mirrr’s ย้ำคิดย้ำทำ (OCD) is a heartbreaking track that talks about being stuck in the same cycle of relationships. In the words of the duo: the song is about “repeating and remembering”, an indirect allusion to the feeling of OCD.

6. ไม่อยากเป็นเพื่อนเธอแล้ว – MEYOU feat. Sprite

White Music vocalist MEYOU is making his departure from the heartbreak genre, this time teaming up with rapper Sprite for ไม่อยากเป็นเพื่อนเธอแล้ว. It speaks about moving from the friendzone to – you guessed it – the lover zone.

7. ตัวร้าย – Klear x Bank Preeti

Genie Records’ 100×100 project continues apace, with the latest collaboration being between Klear and Bank Preeti. ตัวร้าย is a heartbreak track that is breathtakingly filmed. You have to watch all three parts of the story, which is directed by renown director Jugg Jirat.
