GDH’s latest movie The Paradise of Thorns, which stars actor-singer Jeff Satur in his big screen debut, is set to be released internationally.

The movie, which was released in Thailand on 22 August, will be screened in Australia and New Zealand first, from 19 September. It will then be released in the Philippines a week later on 25 September before opening in Cambodia on 27 September.

In October, the movie will open in Laos (3 October) and Singapore (10 October), while November will see openings in Vietnam and Taiwan, on the 1st and 8th respectively.

Confirming the release schedule, GDH also released the promotional movie posters for each country on social media.

The international release comes as the movie smashes local box office records: it stayed as the highest-grossing movie for three weeks running, and has raked in over THB 150 million in ticket sales.

The Paradise of Thorns was also screened at the Toronto International Film Festival, where it earned plaudits from festival-goers.

In the movie, Jeff stars opposite actor ‘Toey’ Pongsakorn as a gay couple who own a durian farm. The Paradise of Thorns also stars Engfa Waraha and Keng Harit. You can watch the international trailer below.
