While most of us are trudging back to work or school at the start of the year, some of our T-Pop faves are taking a (very well-deserved) break overseas, with Japan a hot favourite.

More than half of 12-member boy group BUS Because of you I shine are in the Land of the Rising Sun, including being in Tokyo and Osaka, as well as taking a trip to view Mt Fuji.

The group is officially on personal leave – according to their schedule for January – but the uncanny coincidence had some fans wondering (in jest) if the group were creating a Japanese follow-on to their popular travelogue series Bussing Thailand.

Japan was also popular with other T-Pop acts, like 4EVE’s Taoem, who also took a side trip to catch Mt Fuji, as well as Nice from ATLAS, who went skiing in sub-zero temperatures in Hokkaido.

Skiing is also a favourite of other artistes like ATLAS’ Muon (who went skiing with PUN), 4EVE’s Hannah, Pimma from PiXXiE, as well as bamm’s Arty.

Over in South Korea, it was mini T-Pop reunion, with Mind from 4EVE dining out with Proxie member Chokun, and social media personality @crocks_coke. Also in Seoul was ATLAS member Erwin, who served up winter looks in the city.

Moving beyond Asia were other artistes who took time off to visit Europe with their loved ones. Three Man Down frontman Krit was in the UK, while Violette Wautier was catching the Northern Lights with her partner, Retrospect frontman Kao Jirayu.
