New music for the week of 10-16 February.
พรุ่งนี้ค่อยเลิกได้ไหม (Last Request) – Proxie
You’ve been warned: prepare the tissues, because this is arguably Proxie’s saddest song ever. Take it from producer Afu Narongsak, who reportedly said listening back to the track made him tear up. Released in time for Valentine’s Day, พรุ่งนี้ค่อยเลิกได้ไหม (Last Request) is not a love song, but one for the broken-hearted. Visually, the song – Proxie’s first single for the year – is equally stunning. A must listen for all the emotions.
ooh! (อู้ว์!) – ATLAS
ATLAS also put out their first single of the year, oozing charm with every move. There’s something about the URBOYTJ-produced track that shows the XOXO Entertainment group has come of age.
นครดารา – YOUNGOHM
Youngohm’s latest single draws its inspiration from the movie La La Land, and the rapper also references the movie in the song’s MV, where he compares Bangkok to the night lights.
MIN feat. Jaylerr – LYD (Love You Different)
T-Pop fans from the early 2010s will remember Mr.Min, the fresh-faced pre-teen pop star from Kamikaze. After a hiatus of over three years, Min is back, releasing his first self-written and produced track. The English-language track also features Jaylerr and good friend Porsche Sivakorn.
หน้าร้อน (ไม่) ใจร้าย (LOVE HEAT) – Porsche, Mabelz, Jorin, Victor
Talk about the best of T-Pop: Pepsi’s annual T-Pop track features Porsche, Victor Proxie, Mabelz PiXXiE and Jorin 4EVE, bringing on the heat of summer. It is a visual treat with iconic dance moves, and the signature blue of the soft drink company.
