LYKN made their first visit to Singapore as part of their LYKN Unleashed Asia Tour, wowing a sold-out hall with a solid setlist and plenty of good fun.

The concert, as LYKN would have you know, builds on the theme of “unleashing our powers”. And for over two hours, fans were treated to a high-energy performance of the group’s discography.

Right off the bat, the five member group bursts into action with a trio of hits – May I?, UMM UMM and Trick or Treat. Fans were given a dose of Project Alpha nostalgia, when each member took turns to perform their signature song from the idol survival competition.

Hong elicited one of the loudest screams of the night when, mid-performance of China Dolls’ หมวยนี่คะ, he broke into a Singlish line “Ai stead mai?” (which translates to ‘Wanna be together?’).

Also getting plenty of screams were a medley of LYKN’s high-energy numbers: the ever-popular ฉ่ำ and SUGOI.

Despite being more than an hour into the concert, LYKN showed no evidence of getting tired – and neither were the fans.

The group are clearly excited about their first outing in Singapore – and are hopeful in making a return. Given their sold-out night in Singapore, it seems possible LYKN would return to the Lion City.

The LYKN Unleased Asia Tour continues in Taipei and in Phnom Penh. Tickets for the Taipei were snapped up within hours after sales began.
