Following the global success of Bad Girls Like You, rapper Tobii has made a comeback with his first single for the year – Hotel Lobby.
Hotel Lobby is an Afro-beat infused track with an instantly catchy rhythm, and is topped off with Tobii’s smooth vocals.
The Def Jam Thailand artiste wrote and composed the song, enlisting the help of labelmate Archy and rapper Lomax. The audio is produced by Thai producer Ecoondatrack.
And as with Tobii’s previous hits, there is a dance challenge for Hotel Lobby that’s slowly making its rounds on social media. The #ธนบัตรchallenge features the catchy lines: “ธนบัตร ธนบัตร ธนบัตร baby / Make you go Make you go Make you go crazy”.
Says Tobii: “I have tried to make new types of music that are easier to listen to but with a fun rhythm. I hope to see everyone dancing to my music – let’s do the challenge together.”
Bad Girls Like You was released in September 2024, and instantly became a viral hit thanks to TikTok. Its global popularity has seen Tobii release English, Spanish, Indonesian and Vietnamese versions of the track.
His previous tracks, like แถวนี้อันตราย, have also attained viral popularity on social media.
Tobii was also nominated for the Best Rising Star of the Year award at the recent TOTY Music Awards 2025. The Swiss-Thai artiste was also nominated as Best Male Artiste at The Viral Hits Awards.
