Summer Sonic Bangkok will return again this year, with its second edition to take place on 23 and 24 August.

Organisers of the music festival – to be held at Impact Challenger Hall – say the line-up will be revealed soon.

“This year, get ready for an even bigger, louder and more electrifying experience than ever before,” say Summer Sonic organisers.

Summer Sonic held its first international edition outside of Japan in Bangkok last year, with the two-day event featuring a mix of Japanese, Thai, Asian and Western acts.

They include the likes of Bodyslam, Getsunova, Violette Wautier, Yoasobi, OneRepublic, Travis Japan and Boynextdoor.

Thai artistes have been regular fixtures at recent Summer Sonic festivals in Japan: at 2024’s Japan edition, Bright, Bodyslam and Violette Wautier were among the line-up. In 2022’s edition, PP Krit and Billkin performed, while in 2023, the festival featured Ink Warunton and Milli.

This year’s Summer Sonic Japan has released a partial line-up, but there have been no Thai acts named so far.
