Girl group Pretzelle has announced they would be parting ways by mid-June, ending a five-year musical career.
In a statement released 1 May, label 54 Entertainment confirms the trio will not be renewing their contracts and will be seeing through unfinished projects until 14 June.
“As the members’ contracts…were nearing their end, and after careful discussion and consideration, we have mutually decided that Pretzelle will conclude its group activities,” the company states.
“Each member will pursue her own path,” it adds.
The group will release a final single, as well as a mini-album Cry More Baby, in the lead-up to their disbandment. There is also a farewell fancon planned, according to 54 Entertainment.
Pretzelle made their debut in May 2020 as a four-member girl group. Between 2020 and 2024 the group has had a few line-up changes, eventually ending up a three-member group with members Grace, Aumaim and Inc.
Pretzelle will be the second group from 54 Entertainment to have parted ways. In October 2024, boy group Primetime announced their disbandment after just over a year together.
