Talk about a Heavyweight entrance: rap wunderkind Milli kicked off the launch of her second album by taking a ride around Bangkok town – literally.
The 22-year-old recently released her second studio album Heavyweight, and the launch event on 12 July was anything but light.
The Yupp! Music boarded a tuk-tuk – decked out specially for the event – and went on a tour of different parts of Bangkok.

Milli – accompanied by DJ LAB SIAM and a hand-held mic – started off at the One Bangkok mall, making her way towards Siam, and onwards to Sukhumvit, where the launch party took place. Along the way she danced, sang and rapped, interacting with fans from the tuk-tuk while waiting in traffic.

Milli held a close-up fan meet at Jade’s on Banthat Thong Road, before wrapping it up with an electrifying album launch party at the BLAQ LYTE BLOQ bar, which was attended by artistes, label executives, partners and media.

Heavyweight features 13 tracks, including the hit One Punch, which references Muay Thai and martial arts. The album is now available on digital streaming platforms.
