Actor-singer Bright Vachirawit has sued a number of individuals over “misleading, distorted, or sarcastic” remarks made online.

In a strongly-worded statement, Bright’s agency Cloud9 Entertainment says the individuals – who were not named – have “admitted to their misconduct” and have formally apologised. The individuals have also “accepted full legal responsibility”.

The agency adds: “We would like to make our stance clear: Cloud9 Entertainment does not and will not tolerate defamation, mockery, or baseless accusations directed at our artist, regardless of the platform.

“We consider such behavior unacceptable. Any future attempts to smear or undermine the integrity of our artist will be met with decisive legal action, without exception,” the statement reads.

It is unclear what the original remarks were, or when they were posted. Checks online by ChaPop reveals at least two X users to have posted public apologies on their accounts.

Cloud9, for its part, also urged fans to come forward with information and evidence should they encounter similar instances in the future.
