Two GDH-produced films – starring T-Pop’s biggest names in their big screen debut – were the top winners at the Suphannahong film awards, sweeping several key categories.

How To Make Millions Before Grandma Dies, which stars Billkin in his first lead role in a movie, picked up nine awards for the night.

These were for Best Picture, Best Actor (Billkin), Best Actress (Taew Usha Seamkhum), Best Screenplay, Best Director (Pat Boonnitipat), Best Sound, Best Film Editing, Best Original Score, as well as Best Cultural Promotion Film.

The film has attained critical success since its release in 2024, smashing box office records in Thailand and abroad.

Meanwhile, Paradise of Thorns, starring Jeff Satur, also clinched several key wins. Most notably, Jeff picked up the award for Best OST for เหมือนวิวาห์ (Rain Wedding), the hauntingly emotive soundtrack to the 2024 film.

The film – directed by Boss Kuno (who is also behind the GelBoys series) – also picked up Best Cinematography, Best Costume Design and Best Art Direction. The award for Best Supporting Actress was also posthumously given to Seeda Puapimon, who starred in the movie, but died in March this year.

The Suphannahong awards, which began in 1979, are presented by the National Federation of Motion Pictures and Contents Associations in Thailand. The ceremony is widely regarded as the primary and most prestigious award for the Thai film industry.

For Billkin, the series of awards comes less than 24 hours after the 25-year-old picked up a slew of wins at the Feed x Khaosod Awards 2025, for his role in the rom-com flick The Red Envelope, also produced by GDH and co-starring PP Krit.
