Kicks Records duo Lipta has released the final track to their fifth studio album, checking off many firsts for the track.
คิดถึงแต่ทำอะไรไม่ได้ features guncharlie and Saran and is the 14th and final track from Lipta’s ตึกโป๊ะ album, which dropped on 23 September.
The single features – for the first time – five songwriters: Lipta (comprising Cutto and Tan), guncharlie, fellow fellow vocalist Khao, as well as rapper Saran.
The teamwork in song creation makes the track “incredibly special”, says Lipta.
Lipta, guncharlie and Khao (all of whom are from Kicks Records) first came up with the song’s name, an ode to missing someone but not being able to do anything about it. Saran was then roped in to write and record the rap verses for the track.
And in true Lipta fashion, the MV for the track will feature a female lead. This time, the duo has picked 4EVE member Mind, who makes her debut as an MV lead actress. (You can watch the MV here)
Lipta’s fifth album coincides with the duo’s 20th anniversary since making their debut. The album contains tracks such as the infectious ทักครับ featuring GuyGeeGee, the heartfelt อยู่ได้เเล้ว featuring Mirrr, as well as the English track Take you to the moon that features James Alyn.
