T-Pop boy group ZOLAR will not be heading to Brazil for their first showcase there, following the cancellation of the music festival they were slated to perform in.

In a statement released late 12 October, ZOLAR said its performance at the Thai Fest Brasil 2025 was cancelled by show organisers Lothus Produções.

This was “due to their failure to fulfil certain obligations as stated in the signed contract”, and despite “prior communication and preparation with the event organisers”, the group adds.

It was also revealed that the Thai Fest Brasil 2025 was to take place on 17-19 October, but Lothus Produções cancelled the event on 11 October, citing “operational challenges”.

The event – which also features Timethai in its line-up – was to have been ZOLAR’s first international showcase.

In July, the group had teased a fan-meeting in the Latin American country, slated for October. The group was also in Brazil earlier this year as part of the OLA BL & GL Thailand in Brazil press conference to promote the Thai entertainment industry to the Brazilian market.

On social media, ZOLAR members apologised for the abrupt cancellation, adding that they hoped to perform in Brazil soon in the future.
