Actor-singer NuNew was named T-Pop Artiste of the year at the annual Maya TV Awards, where he picked up multiple awards.
The DMD artiste also picked up the Popular Vote award, garnering the most fan votes, and beating other T-Pop names like PP Krit, Billkin and Jeff Satur.
This year’s Maya TV Awards was held on 29 October in Bangkok, and saw a mix of fan vote and judge’s choice awards given out.
NuNew and his on-screen partner – and fellow DMD Music soloist Zee Pruk – were voted the Male Couple of the Year award. Their latest series The Next Prince – produced by their agency DomundiTV – picked up the award for best set and costume design.
It was a good evening for DomundiTV, which received other awards. Actor Keng Harit, who also hails from the agency, was voted Male Rising Star of the Year. Domundi series Khemjira The Series, which also stars Keng, on the Trending Series of the Year.
GMMTV actors Joss Way-ar and Gawin Caskey picked up the award for best OST for Ever After, from their series Golden Blood.
