What The Duck’s first boy group VVV is preparing to officially debut later this month.
Ahead of their debut, the trio, managed by sub-label Whoop Music, released the single เนิร์ดดี (Nerdy), produced by mentor and label head The Toys.
The track showcases the group in a new light, and is quite a switch-up in sound and visuals from their pre-debut single ตัวปัญหา (Envy).
Gone is the cool, pensive look from their pre-debut days; instead, VVV has opted to go full geek mode. The track is in the style of pop electronic dance, a change from the R&B style of ตัวปัญหา (Envy).
The boys are charming and cute to a tee, hamming it up as the nerdy kids in school trying to woo the ‘It Girl’.
The single’s release comes as VVV holds their debut stage on 24 February. The showcase takes place at centralwOrld’s Eden Zone performing space.
VVV comprises 21-year-old Janus Sira, 24-year-old Jeewath Jirawat, as well as 25-year-old Junior Priya, all of whom were formerly known as What The Duck trainees.
The trio were first revealed in September last year, after making their maiden stage appearance as part of What The Duck’s School Tour ensemble in August.
