Pimma from girl group PiXXiE is set to take on her first leading role, as she stars in the upcoming GDH feature film Human Resource.
The film, which will be released in cinemas on 29 January, is a thought-provoking feature on urban life and the working world.
Pimma plays the role of Jida, a fresh graduate who is entering the workforce for the first time.
She is one of the four leading roles in the movie, which also stars White Music singer-songwriter Atom in his big-screen debut. The movie also stars Prapamonton Eiamchan and Paopetch Charoensook.
“What qualities of a ‘new employee’ will be considered in a company called ‘The World’?” the movie trailer states.
Human Resources is helmed by director Ter Nawapol, who has directed and written other GDH films like Fast and Feel Love from 2022 and Happy Old Year in 2019.
It was in the official selection for the 2025 Venice Biennale, and has been screened across film festivals in cities such as Singapore, Busan, London and Taipei.
