LISA of the K-Pop group Blackpink will be headlining the opening ceremony to this year’s World Cup, making history as the first Thai artiste to do so.
LISA will be performing on 12 June at the Los Angeles Stadium, joined by other headliners like Katy Perry, Tyla, Future and Rema.
Her agency LLOUD confirms the news on social media, stating: “Happy to announce that LISA will be part of the FIFA World Cup 2026 Opening Ceremony, the first largest FIFA World Cup in history!”
This year’s World Cup will be held across 16 host cities in three countries: the USA, Canada and Mexico.
