WhiteFox duo MicMac – comprising twins Mic and Mac – are back with their sophomore single that explores a different side of love: mixed signals and the difficulty of understanding someone’s true feelings.
Aptly titled แยกไม่ออก (Twins), the single is produced by Getsunova’s Noth, and was inspired by the latter’s first meeting with the twins. During the meeting, he genuinely struggled to tell the duo apart, leading to the genesis of track.
แยกไม่ออก (Twins) captures the uncertainty of modern relationships, through its clever use of duality. In the lyrics are phrases like ‘Vitamin or Venom’ as well as ‘Pleasure or pain’.
Musically, the track blends easy-listening city pop with carefully designed guitar harmonies, with Mic and Mac contributing to the arrangement themselves.
แยกไม่ออก (Twins) is the follow-on single to MicMac’s debut track WORKING U, which was released in late May.
The single is out now on all streaming platforms, and you can watch the MV on White Music’s Youtube channel.
