1. THE BOYS ARE HITTING IT ALL NIGHT
Timethai’s Hit Me Up has positively given lots of courage to our T-pop boys to gyrate provocatively (in various state of undress). ChaPop says thank you Timethai for this trend. Satu!
2. ARTISTES WALKED THE… ESCALATOR
The red carpet segment before an award ceremony is always great for stargazing, and it’s no less fun at this week’s Guitar Mag Awards…except that they started the walk from a long escalator ride at IconSiam’s True Icon Hall. Talk about icon-ic.
Style-wise, there were hits, and there were questionable choices too. Red however seems to be the colour of choice for many, befitting of the Guitar Mag colours (and maybe the red carpet?)

3. PP KRIT FEIGNS ILLNESS
Staying on the awards, actor-singer PP Krit coughed and nearly fainted while giving an interview after his Popular Vote win at the Guitar Mag Awards. Well, not quite. (It’s called method acting!) PP Krit truly reminds he is – despite his extensive music credentials – still an actor at heart.
4. TAIWANESE UP FOR THREE MAN DOWN
Three Man Down performed their first ever show in Taipei, Taiwan, adding to the list of overseas concerts that they have performed at. They have previously visited Australia, Hong Kong, Philippines and Singapore, and it looks very likely there will be more stops for them in 2024.
5. BILLKIN HITS THE TEMPO IN FUZHOU, CHINA
The singer, which has a huge following in Mainland China, attracted a massive turnout in the city’s stadium on Saturday for his Tempo Tour 2024. He is clearly on fire, that he even decided to do a rendition of PP Krit’s Fire Boy.
6. ARTISTES BADE FAREWELL TO HYBS
HYBS, which performed their farewell concerts over the weekend, brought along many fellow T-pop artistes and celebrities for a final ride. GMMTV’s ‘Gemini’ Norawit Thiticharoenrak, Bright Vachirawit, Zeal’s Pekku Pongchai, and Zom Marie were among many who were spotted at the MGI Hall across the two days. Tilly Birds’ frontman ‘Third’ Anuroth Ketlekha in an IG story says “Love you guys @hybsband”. Read ChaPop’s account of the concert here.

7. BUS (IG) HIJACKED
It’s BUS’ Khunpol birthday and it seems like he has taken over the band’s Instagram page for a day. In a post, he hinted that he’s open for dates. Someone please grant him his birthday wish.
8. ROLEX ROBBERY ALERT
Entertainment host and actor ‘Ter’ Ratthanant Janyajirawong disclosed in a widely-shared Instagram post that two luxury Rolex watches have been stolen from his house. Investigations are ongoing, but he did advise his followers not to purchase these watches second-hand, especially if it comes without the casing. May the culprit be caught soon – watch this space.
