ATLAS member ‘Jet’ Patpaiboon Opassuwant has called out an online user for a hateful message sent to his mother, as fans and fellow band members rallied round with words of support.

In a post on X on the night of 16 April, ‘Jet’ posted the screenshot of the message – which states in Thai: “I hate your child”.

He calls out the user for comments, stating: “If you don’t like me or are not okay with me, speak to me directly.”

“Don’t write anything to my mother again…I love my mother very much and I believe all mothers love their children. Please don’t mess with my mother,” he adds.

Soon after he posted his statement, fellow band members rallied round the 26-year-old and called out such behaviour from online users.

‘Poom’ Dechathorn Wanwanichkul, in a separate post on X, says this is “not the first time” the members have received such hateful messages, nor was it the first occasion members’ families have been targeted.

“If your life is not happy, you have to manage it yourself,” he wrote.

‘Poom’ follows up with another post saying: “There are many better things to do in life than to create an account to curse someone’s mother even though they did nothing wrong.”

Fellow ATLAS member ‘Erwin’ Supaklit Pennors, meanwhile, posted on X: “Pls bring justice to my brother. #ProtectJetAtlas.”

The hashtag began trending briefly thereafter, with fans adding their messages of support for ‘Jet’, and calling out the original hate message.

‘Jet’ later follows up with a post thanking his supporters: “Thank you my wings”.
