Four-member NEVONE have made their debut, launching their first single Shortcut on 2 May.
The group is managed by BRIQ Entertainment, which itself is linked to music giant RS Music.
NEVONE comprises ‘Prom’ Kridchayaan Attavipach, ‘Tawan’ Phurijiwat, ‘Thankhun’ Darasrisak, as well as ‘Yoshi’ Pathanan Yongmeteewarakul. Some readers might find ‘Prom’ familiar – he was a contestant in the idol surival show Project Alpha (which ultimately led to the formation of LYKN).
The group’s name is derived from the phrase “The One in Neverland”. On 19 April, BRIQ Entertainment announced the launch of the group with the phrase “Let’s go to Neverland soon”.
Their fandom is called ‘Vendy’, with the extended tagline: “The One in Neverland; The one in our heart ‘Vendy’.”
On the same day they released their debut single, the group performed on the weekly countdown show T-Pop Stage Show.
NEVONE is BRIQ’s first boy group – the label also manages girl group Wizzle.
