Bowkylion has hinted at releasing her first English song, though details remain unclear for now.

The singer’s label What the Duck disclosed this on the sidelines of a visit to Spotify Asia’s office in Singapore. ChaPop has reached out to the singer and label for comment.

Bowkylion was in Singapore for a one-night-only showcase on 20 May. The next day she visited Spotify’s office, where among other things, she gave a short performance.

On What The Duck’s Instagram page, there is a video of Bowkylion performing a snippet of what appears a new English song in the Spotify Asia office. The caption reads: “The first English song is coming soon.”

If true, Bowkylion would be the latest in a growing number of T-Pop artistes to venture into making English music.

In recent months, alt-rock band Tilly Birds dropped their first English-language track White Pills, while Violette Wautier marked her return to English music, with the release of Dancing On A Graveyard.
