Actress Baifern Pimchanok has spoken publicly for the first time since news broke of her split with fellow actor ‘Nine’ Naphat.
Speaking on the sidelines of the lensing ceremony of her upcoming drama, the 31-year-old says she was “sorry” the relationship ended this way.

On 4 July, Nine confirmed rumours the duo – one of the Thai entertainment industry’s high-profile couples – had parted ways, following a trip to Europe in May. According to the 28-year-old, the decision was made to “prioritise work”, but he stopped short of blaming anyone else for the split.
Baifern, who told reporters she had seen the press conference Nine gave a week earlier, says the decision to break up was “mutual”.
“It was a very difficult decision but in the end it is (a decision) we both agreed on,” says Baifern, who says the two still remain friends.
“We still ask about each other and we talk all the time. I don’t know what will happen in the future, but this is what it is today,” she adds.
The seven-minute press conference saw Baifern put up a stoic front as she fielded questions, though her voice wavers towards the end, as she told reporters present: “I am okay.”
Nine and Baifern officially announced their relationship in 2022, but had acted together in several movies and shows together, most famously the 2019 movie Friend Zone.
