The annual Howe Awards took place on 8 October, with several big T-Pop names winning top honours at the ceremony.
DMD Music’s NuNew took home two awards – the hottest male singer award and the popular vote award – making him one of the biggest winners of the night.
In the Popular Vote category, NuNew trumped other nominees like Billkin, Win Metawin and actresses Engfa Waraha and Freen Sarocha.
NuNew also edged out Nont Tanont in a close finish to win Hottest Male Singer. Other nominees in the category – which is determined by public voting – include One Music’s Boom Saharat and Timethai.
Nont did not go home empty-handed either: the LOVEiS singer-songwriter won the Hottest Song award for the smash hit จำนน.
Riser Music’s Fourth Nattawat continued his winning streak as well, winning the Shining Male award and beating out other young actors like Mike Panitan and Pooh Krittin.
Meanwhile, Riser’s Win Metawin was one of the four artistes to receive the New Generation award, which was also given to singer-actress Nene Pornnappan.
Howe Awards is organised by Howe Magazine and is in its 12th edition this year.
