New music for the week of 28 October – 3 November
1. Traffic – Proxie
What a breath of fresh air: whether it is the 2000s’ R&B sound, or the liberal use of autotune, or the the ultra smooth dance moves that accompany the chorus. It’s Proxie’s first single that’s almost entirely in English, and comes as part of a collaboration with TheBlackSea, a Thai-Korean joint venture.
2. Transformer – BUS
The long-awaited MV to BUS’ newest single is finally out in all its futuristic aesthetic.
หยอกไม่หลอก (Trick Or Treat) – LYKN feat. Chrissa
Released in time for Halloween, LYKN’s newest track is far from a scare track. Instead, the Riser Music group leans into cuteness, with a bit of spice from internet personality Chrissa.
ยาวไป! (Move It) – ZOLAR
Muzik Move boy group Zolar are back with their fourth single ยาวไป! (Move It), a riot of colour and dance that deftly fuses dance with traditional Thai instruments.
