Alternative rock band Zweed n’ Roll will go on an indefinite hiatus at the end of the year, capping off a 12-year music journey.

In a statement on social media, the band says they are “taking a break from producing works under the ‘Zweed n’ Roll’ name”, adding that they will only be accepting work till the end of the year.

“For the past 12 years, the five of us have been an ordinary indie band that has received many opportunities from our brothers, sisters and our fans,” the band writes.

Zweed n’ Roll made their debut in 2012, but it would only be in 2018 that they rose to prominence with their single A Moment, and the album I’m 20.

“We have come this far because of all of you. Music brings us together, creates happiness, good memories…and even makes us cry together,” says Zweed n’ Roll.

“Music is something we still love. You can follow all members on their social channels – until we meet again,” the band adds.

The news comes as lead singer Pat Sutipat embarks on a solo career under the moniker MAMIO.
