Daou Pittaya’s comeback single ละลาย (LALALYE) has achieved a new milestone, with its sizzling MV hitting 1 million views.
The track, which was released on 27 November, hit the 1-million mark in the afternoon of 3 December, according to Open Label.
“Thank you very much everyone – get ready to burn up every stage!” says Daou in a post on X, following the news.
The milestone also comes as the dance challenge – the ‘ละลาย Challenge’ – begins to trend on TikTok.
Daou, who himself has been the face of many other TikTok dance challenges like Timethai’s Hit Me Up, features in several videos, dancing with other artistes.
Other T-Pop artistes have also hopped on the trend: several members of boy group Zolar, as well as Nice Somkid from ATLAS.
Daou’s former group mates from the now-disbanded LAZ1 – Diamond Narakorn and Geler Krittimuk – also had their own takes of the LALALYE challenge.
But the one that had everyone hot under the collar had one with Daou and on-screen partner Offroad Kantapon, whose syncronised dance moves were equal parts sizzling and mesmerising.
