Proving that their talent extends beyond music, artistes from major T-Pop labels will be coming together for a sports competition set to take place in May.

Olympop – a play on the Olympics – will see ten labels come together for the first-ever sports meet, in a teaser unveiled on 18 January.

The labels are: XOXO Entertainment, TADA Entertainment, LOVEiS Entertainment, WhiteFox Studios, Sonray Music, ILY Lab, LiT Entertainment, GNEST, 411 Music and Kiddo Records.

Groups under these labels include BUS Because of you I shine, 4EVE, MXFRUIT, PERSES, PiXXiE, DICE, AR3NA and bamm. Soloists include Ally, Tigger, Nont Tanont and Proo Thunwa.

The event date has not been revealed, and it is unclear how many artistes will be involved. More details will be revealed soon, organisers say.

After the announcement, some T-Pop fans were left wondering why some labels (and groups) were not participating. Notable absentees pointed out by fans include bRothers Music, which manages popular boy group Proxie, as well as Riser Music, which manages LYKN and other solo artistes like Fourth and Gemini.
