Actor-singer Bright Vachirawit briefly fell victim to hackers, after his social media accounts on Instagram and X were compromised.
Bright’s social media pages posted a cryptocurrency-related message, relating to a “Burberry coin” on blockchain platform Solana. Bright is currently in London, according to his other posts.
His agency Cloud9 Entertainment quickly confirmed the incident in a statement: “We regret to inform you that Bright’s official Instagram and X accounts have been compromised due to unauthorised access.”
It adds: “We strongly advise all fans to refrain from engaging with any suspicious activity, messages, or posts from these accounts until further notice. Please exercise caution and be vigilant against fraudulent requests, solicitations for personal information, or financial transactions falsely claiming to be from Bright or his official representatives.”
In less than an hour, Cloud9 said that Bright’s accounts have been restored. The compromised post has since been deleted as well.
