9×9 marked their sixth anniversary since disbandment with a surprise reunion, taking to the stage as guests for PP Krit’s My Pleasure concert.
The nine-member group performed on both days of the concert, treating fans to a medley of their famous hits, including Night Light and ผู้โชคดี (The Lucky One).
In a social media post following their performance, 4nologue says: “Our memories are as beautiful as ever, and your love keeps 9×9 in our hearts.”
The post attracted calls from fans for new music and a reunion concert. One commented: “Strike while the iron is hot – hurry up and announce the concert now!”
9×9 made their debut in March 2018 as a joint boy group project between production house Nadao Bangkok and music label 4nologue. They disbanded a year later at the end of their contracts, having produced one mini-album and acted in two TV series.
Several of their members remained in the music industry. More notably, Trinity – also under 4nologue Music before its closure – comprises ex-9×9 members Porscshe, Third and Jackie. Also producing music is Ice Paris, who is a self-managed musician.
Tor and Jaylerr have made successful forays into acting, starring opposite each other in the romance thriller Spare Me Your Mercy. Other members Ryu, Captain and James are also involved in acting and modelling projects.
