White Music has signed on Samui, the former member of now-defunct boy group DVI, as its newest artiste.

The label on 8 May announced its newest artiste on its social media channels. In a 20-second teaser, Samui, whose full name is Samuth Kaewwan, is seen singing, rapping, dancing and oozing sensuality and charisma.

More details, including Samui’s debut single, are expected to be announced soon.

The 24-year-old had been a member of DVI from early 2023 to 2024, when their label 4nologue Music announced the termination of the members’ contracts.

He had also been part of the idol survival show LAZ iCON, from which the boy group LAZ1 was formed.

Writing on X, Samui says: “After my long absence, my new path has begun again…I have been working hard and practicing until I have become the artiste that I have always dreamt of.”

“Please support me…I will have albums for everyone to listen to!” he adds.
