A trio of Thai acts will be part of the line-up at this year’s Sundown Festival, which returns with a bigger pan-Asian slate, and a sustainability focus.
Tilly Birds, Bowkylion and Slot Machine will be headed to the Lion City for the festival, which runs from 4 to 6 July.
It will not be their first time in Singapore: Tilly Birds has performed twice – in 2023 and 2024 – while Bowkylion and Slot Machine were in Singapore in 2024.
It is also the first time in six years that the festival is featuring Thai acts: in 2019, rock legends Big Ass and Thai singer Keng Tachaya were part of the line-up.
This year’s line-up will also see acts from other Asian countries, including Hwasa from South Korea, as well as Inch Chua and Shigga Shay from Singapore.
Also making an appearance this year is WhyLucas from Singapore, who participated in the pan-Asian idol survival show Chuang Asia 2.
This year’s festival will take on the theme of sustainability. Apart from music, organisers say that there will be regional and international speakers who will “delve into the pressing topic of sustainability, sharing their insights and innovations to shape our future”.
Tickets to the three-day festival will go on sale on the festival website on 23 May.
