Has it only been two years?
DMD Music singer-actor NuNew marked his second year in the music business with a special message for fans, who celebrated the occasion on social media.
In a message posted by his label DMD Music, NuNew says he is very grateful for all the support received over the past two years, adding that he hopes to be able to do a “variety” of works this year.
“I will do my best…Love you all. I want to be your pillow forever,” NuNew writes, referencing the lyrics of his popular debut track หมอนอิง (Anything), which was released on 6 July 2023.
On X, fans poured their congratulatory messages and well-wishes for NuNew, and the hashtag #2YrsNuNewDebutAnniversary trended quickly.
Fans wrote about how they first knew of NuNew and his music – one said they watched his song covers, while another watched his singing on TikTok – and many praised his singing, with one calling it “ethereal”.
Renowned producer Amp Achariya, who has worked closely with NuNew on several songs, wrote on X: “Congratulations on NuNew’s growth. You are getting better all the time…let’s keep going!”
NuNew started his musical career under DMD Music in 2023, more than a year after he made his acting debut under DomundiTV. Since then, he has gone on to release music not just in Thai, but in Mandarin Chinese and even Japanese.
NuNew will be heading to Singapore for the first time as part of his NuNew Dreamcatcher concert tour. The one-night-only show takes place 12 July.
