Thai hip-hop star Tobii has made his first stage appearance in Malaysia, teaming up with the country’s biggest girl group Dolla.
The Def Jam Thailand soloist took the stage at the Anugerah Industri Musik (AIM) award show on 13 September.
There, he joined Dolla for a special performance of the group’s viral hit song MWA!, and they also performed Tobii’s Bad Girls Like You.
Tobii had previously worked with Dolla for the English version of Bad Girls Like You, which was released in late January this year.
It was not just work – in between rehearsals and performing, the 25-year-old also spent time at Kuala Lumpur’s iconic Petronas Twin Towers, having a good meal – and getting some social media content with Dolla.
Writing on social media, Dolla, which comprises members Sabronzo, Tabby and Angel, says: “It was truly an honour sharing the stage with Tobii! We had the best time performing and we hope you enjoyed it just as much as we did.”
