Patrickananda has released a comeback single ดวงใจ (毒) | Doku, ahead of the release of his new album.
The track, which sees the Wayfer Records soloist work together with LUSS’ Ben, talks about a toxic relationship, in which love is both beautiful and painful at the same time.
It features the signature R&B sound of Patrickananda, and also features the vocals of The Voice Thailand alumna Bell Chalisa.
Both Patrickananda and Bell star in the MV, which is set in scientific laboratory. Patrickananda plays the role of the mad scientist, who strives to revive humanity in a world which has collapsed – a metaphor for someone doing everything to bring their loved one back.
Bell, meanwhile, stars as a virtual assistant during this scientific process.
ดวงใจ (毒) | Doku signals a “new direction” for Patrickananda ahead of his new album, where he intends to collaborate other artists to add new dimensions to his sound. The upcoming album will be his latest since his 2023 release Kai.
