Kicks Records’ fellow fellow have released their year-end single Best Year, marking what could possibly the duo’s, well, best year.
The single, which dropped 9 December, is written by fellow fellow’s Khao and produced by Lipta’s Tan, who is also one of Kicks Records’ senior executives.
It speaks of gratitude for all the wonderful moments that has happened in a year. In fellow fellow’s case, 2025 continues to be a year of new highs for the duo, most notably when they held their first large-scale showcase in over 12 years.
The song also reflects that even though one’s year may not have been the perfect all the time, it is filled with memories that bring smiles and warmth.
The duo have their words of gratitude for their fans: “Thank you for being together at our first big concert, thank you for listening to our music and supporting the band throughout.
“We hope that Best Year will be a perfect end-of-year song for everyone, and a song that you can listen to every year to reflect on how – by simply having important people by your side – that year becomes your Best Year,” they add.
