Three Man Down played to an enthusiastic crowd at their first ever showcase in Malaysia, with a setlist packed with fan favourites – and a few surprises.

The Bridge Management band was in Kuala Lumpur for their one-night-only showcase on 5 September, organised by YOLO Malaysia.

It was clear the band was very well-loved by their Malaysian fans, some of whom waited in line hours before the concert.

Throughout the 1.5-hour set, Three Man Down brought their A-game, kicking off with ขอบคุณที่กลับมา – a fitting note of gratitude, perhaps, for their fans in Malaysia.

In between popular hits like ข้างกัน (City), ฝนตกไหม (both of which are among the band’s favourite tracks to play), frontman Krit found time to banter with the audience in Thai.

Each member – Thay, Toon and Seng, as well as bassist Jason – also had the chance to speak with fans.

The night’s set also comprised the band’s latest singleไม่เคยได้ลา (the OST to the Haunted Universities 4 movie), as well as the 2023 feel-good track ไม่อยากให้เธอไม่สบาย (You) that Krit says the band seldom plays back home. Talk about a treat for international fans.

Song after song, fans gave it their all, singing (and screaming) at the top of their voices the lyrics to virtually every single – even Krit was impressed at some points of the concert.

Will there be a second time? The band is not ruling it out, but fans are already asking for an encore. Until then, this City awaits their return.
