DICE member Obo Aphinat will take a two-month break from performing, after doctors diagnosed the vocalist with bronchitis caused by chronic post-nasal drip.
The 20-year-old will be sitting out DICE’s promotional activities, performances and events in January and February, Sonray Music states.
The label disclosed the diagnosis on 13 January, adding that it has led to coughing when using his voice. Chronic post-nasal drip happens when more mucus than usual gathers and flows down the throat.
“Upon medical evaluation, his attending physician has advised that he undergo a period of rest and refrain from continuous voice use to allow for a proper recovery and a full return to health,” the statement adds.
While Obo will not be on stage, Sonray states that he will be able to “carry out daily activities as usual”, but will have to “closely monitor his health” during the two-month rest period.
The ten-member DICE will be releasing their 2026 comeback single Swipe Up on 14 January.
