Singer-actor Daou marked his 28th birthday by taking it all the way back – with an iconic hairdo to boot.
At the Daou Joy Joy Day 2026 – his annual birthday event – Daou stunned by looking like he stepped out of a Y2K boy group photo shoot.
Think long multi, with dyed tips and side-swept bangs: Daou even wore a tie-dye t-shirt and a vest. He completed his look with a silver basketball, leaving fans surprised – and for younger fans – very confused who he was channelling.
As it turns out, Daou is bidding farewell to being 27 with a look from 2007. He says his look was inspired by Y2K T-Pop boy group K-OTIC – specifically Thai-Japanese member Tomo Visava.
In fact, Daou’s look caught the attention of Tomo, who commented on X that he had thought Daou was dressed as famed forensic scientist Khunying Pornthip.
It is not Daou’s first time marking his birthday with a special ‘do. In 2025 he attended his birthday party as a Thai street boy (inspired by the Younggu song ทรงเอ)
