Shortly after BUS because of you I shine released their schedules for June, sharp-eyed fans noticed something amiss.

Between 4-7 June, the 12-member group is scheduled to travel to Singapore for a purported “online content shooting”.

The date range falls on what would have been their first-ever concert in the city, as part of their ongoing BUS The 1st Asia Fancon Tour: The First Light. Initially scheduled for 5 June, BUS would abruptly cancel the show – alongside Manila – citing “unforeseen” reasons.

The latest June schedule now confirms BUS will be in Singapore – but not to perform at a concert.

Sonray Music in a response to fan queries says the content shooting had been “planned and coordinated in advance with the relevant parties”.

It does not address questions about why the concert was cancelled, despite the group being in Singapore during the time.

It adds: “While we had initially hoped to take this opportunity to meet everyone, in order to ensure a smooth production process and the safety of all parties involved, we will not be able to organise any official fan activities during this trip.”
