The ongoing Thai Festival season is in full swing, with cities like Jakarta, Singapore, Yangon and Seoul set to host their version of the annual event.
The Thai Festival is an annual celebration hosted by the Royal Thai Embassy in different cities around the world, to showcase Thailand’s heritage, creative economy and tourism.
In recent years, most Thai Festivals have seen an increase in T-Pop acts performing. For the first time this year, the Thai Festival Jakarta will have T-Pop performances as part of its line-up, after GNEST group PERSES disclosed their upcoming plans.
ChaPop tracks some of the key festivals in the region that have taken place – or are taking place – this year.
